Fees

Our costs are informed by the recommended fees of the Australian Psychological Society

​

Please note, requests for additional services such as screener tests, support letters, and other documentation may incur a fee based on the time required. All additional fees will be discussed with you prior. 

​

We accept Bank transfer, Eftpos or Debit/Credit Card payments.​

Standard Individual Session

The cost for a standard 50-minute session is $280, this includes in-person and telehealth appointments.

 

Full payment is required at the time of the appointment.

Assessment Costs

The cost for a comprehensive ADHD and learning assessment is $2,150.

​

The cost for a comprehensive Autism assessment is $2,380.

​

The cost for a combined assessment is $4,240.​

​​

An initial non-refundable deposit (10% of the total cost) is required at the time of booking to secure your appointments and the remaining balance is due on or before the date of the final testing session.

Medicare Rebates

No GP referral is required to access our services.

 

However, clients with a mental health care plan from their GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician can claim a Medicare rebate of $145.25 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. 

 

Please bring your referral and mental health care plan with you to your first appointment, or email them to us prior in order to receive a rebate. 

 

Unfortunately, Medicare rebates are not currently available for cognitive, behavioural and educational assessments. To receive a rebate for an autism assessment, a referral must be made by a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist and specifically request an autism assessment. â€‹â€‹

Private Health Insurance

If you have private health insurance, you may be eligable to claim rebates for psychological services depending on your coverage. Please contact your insurer to determine if you are able to claim on sessions. â€‹â€‹

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to make your appointment, please cancel or reschedule as soon as possible.

 

Inner Clarity Psychology has a strict cancellation policy and requires at least 48-hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please send all rescheduling and cancellation requests to admin@innerclaritypsychology.com.au.  

 

This is to ensure we can manage our schedule effectively and provide fair access to appointments for all clients who are seeking support. If an appointment is cancelled at short notice, it is often too late to book in another client.

 

Please be aware that cancellations made less than 48 hours before your scheduled session will incur a cancellation fee. This fee compensates for the time that had been set aside for you and the preparation time from the clinician. 

 

Cancellation fees:

  • more than 48-hours notice: no cancellation fee. 

  • within 24-hours notice: 50% of the full session cost ($140)

  • less than 24-hours notice: 100% of the full session cost ($280)
